What is this?

I needed a better way to find and install Demos during Steam Next Fests on my Steam Deck.

The store is really janky and super hard to navigate on the Deck, so the best experience comes from browsing using a browser on a laptop/PC.
But how do you DOWNLOAD the Demos from your computer to your Deck??

With God's help, I discovered a way to trigger download of demos on the Deck, but it only worked with certain apps. So I had to come up with a whole workaround to make the finding and installation of demos on the Deck as seamless as possible, and here we are :)

This website is part of the whole process. If you want to make use of it, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Chrome Extension for saving all the demos as a list
  2. Use Drop.lol to transfer the list to your Deck (open on your computer and on your Deck)
  3. Share the link to this website on a friend chat (use shortened link: v.gd/snfdeck)
  4. Open this website from the chat link
  5. Copy the list from drop.lol and paste it in the text area above
  6. Click on the generated Steam Links one by one to Download the Demos :)
